What is Tata Neu?

Tata Neu is a digital super app by the Tata Group that integrates multiple Tata-owned brands and services into a single platform. It offers a seamless shopping, travel, and lifestyle experience by allowing users to earn and redeem NeuCoins across various Tata brands, including IHCL, Air India/Air India Express, BigBasket, Croma, Westside, Tanishq, and many more.
NeuPass is access to a power-packed membership programme where members can shop, order food, book travel and a lot more, while being rewarded for it. NeuPass loyalty program rewards the member with special offers, savings, NeuCoins where members can earn and redeem their NeuCoins across multiple participating Tata Brands in this program.
NeuCoins are the reward points that member can earn and use on Tata Neu and its partner brands. Member can earn NeuCoins and use them while shopping, making hotel & flight bookings, ordering food, and so much more at Tata Neu partnered brands. 1 NeuCoin = ₹ 1.

NeuPass rewards Members for every purchase made on Tata Neu and its partner brands. They earn minimum 4% NeuCoins on each booking made across IHCL brands when shopping, ordering food, booking travel and a lot more. Use NeuCoins across multiple brands on Tata Neu. 1 NeuCoin = ₹ 1.
Members can earn NeuCoins through eligible transactions made on the Tata Neu application and at partner brands. The earning criteria and eligibility may vary for each participating brand on Tata Neu.
Member can use their NeuCoins on an array of options including:

-Stays, dining, bar & spa therapies at Taj, SeleQtions, Gateway, Vivanta, Ginger and ãma Stays and Trails.

- Air India flight bookings.

- Bigbasket Orders.

- Purchases from Croma.

- Shopping on Tata CLiQ.

 
If a member is shopping online, they can use the NeuCoins by selecting Tata Pay as the payment method. If a Member is shopping in-store, hey can inform the cashier that they would like to pay with NeuCoins. NeuCoins can only be used on eligible spending as defined by the respective brands and the NeuCoins with the closest expiry date will be used up first so that Member can get the most out of member rewards.
NeuCoins expire 365 days after its last transaction involving an eligible earn or use of NeuCoins (even if it’s just one NeuCoin earned or used). During special promotions, Member might also earn additional NeuCoins. The expiry of these NeuCoins will be mentioned at the time of issuance.
No, NeuCoins cannot be earned or used in fractions. They are rounded off to the nearest integer. NeuCoins greater than or equal to 0.5 are rounded up while NeuCoins less than 0.5 are rounded down.

No, that is not required. Everyone is welcome to sign up for NeuPass. Click on the ‘LOGIN/JOIN’ button on Tata Neu Website or application to enrol.
No, it’s rewarding all the way! There are no charges whatsoever for becoming a Neu Pass member.
Yes, absolutely! NeuPass is open to everyone.
Yes, Member can certainly join NeuPass.
Member’s mobile number and a valid email address is necessary to sign up on Tata Neu. An OTP will be sent on the mobile number required to sign up / login to Tata Neu.
If the redemption transaction is successful, then NeuCoins will be deducted immediately from member’s account.
If the transaction has failed, then the corresponding NeuCoins will be refunded to the member’s account within 24 hours.
No, there is no way to reverse expired NeuCoins into the member’s account.
If member cancel its booking that Member had paid for with NeuCoins, the member will have to raise a refund request for its NeuCoins with the Tata Neu Customer Care team and/or the dedicated IHCL Customer Care team. Once approved, the redeemed NeuCoins will be automatically refunded back to the member’s account.
  • Each partner brand has its own set of requirements to allow for a tier upgrade. In case a Member does not meet the brand’s requirements, member tier will not be upgraded.
  • With respect to IHCL, following are the criteria for tier upgrades:
  • Taj InnerCircle Copper Tier: – It is the base tier, every member on its enrolment to the Tata Neu program will be onboarded on the Copper Tier at IHCL.

  • Taj InnerCircle Silver Tier: When a Taj InnerCircle Copper tier member completes stay of 10 room nights or ₹ 1 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Silver tier.

  • Taj InnerCircle Gold Tier: In case a Taj InnerCircle Silver tier member completes stay of 40 room nights or ₹ 4 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Gold tier.

  • Taj InnerCircle Platinum Tier: In case a Taj InnerCircle Gold tier member completes stay of 80 room nights or ₹ 8 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Platinum tier.

Each upgraded tier remains valid for 365 days from the date of upgrade, unless the member qualifies for a higher tier within that period. If the member does not meet the eligibility criteria to retain the current tier during this 365-day period, the member will be downgraded to the lower tier (as per their eligibility) on completion of 365 days.
"Ineligible spends" or "Ineligible rates" are defined as:
  • Which includes but are not limited to room charges that are included in the definition of ineligible rates.

  • Charges for rooms booked as part of a banquet or group event at the hotel will not be eligible for earning points.

  • Charges for banquets, parties, meetings, weddings, events and other similar functions.

  • Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests.

  • Rooms booked as office space.

  • Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests.

  • Complimentary services.

  • Any charges which are settled using Taj Experiences Gift Cards or NeuCoins.

  • Charges for food and beverages exceeding a group of 10.

  • Charges for car hire, third-party shopping arcade, pay outs, tips, taxes, and other thirdparty spends.

  • Membership fees

  • Charges (even if charged to the members’ room) for non-affiliated hotel entities which are not owned and/or operated by the hotel including, but not limited to, outlets such as travel bookings, gift shop, drugstore, clothes, gallery, or specialty stores, recreational or entertainment concessions.

"Eligible spends” or "Eligible charges" are spends made by Member on eligible room rates, room charges, food and beverages (restaurants, bars, room service and mini-bars), telecommunication, laundry, spa services, Salon services, cake shop, business centre services and purchases at the Taj Khazana chain of stores.They don't include:
  • Room charges that are included in the definition of ineligible rates(which includes but is not limited bookings made as airline Crew, Events, Group, Complimentary Stays, Long Stays (stays of more than 5 days) and Conferences

  • Charges for banquets, parties, meetings, weddings, events and other similar functions.

  • Rooms booked as office space.

  • Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests.

  • Complimentary services.

  • Any charges which are settled using Taj Experiences Gift Cards or NeuCoins.

  • Charges for food and beverages (including those associated with parties/ social gatherings hosted at restaurants and bars) which are discounted/special menu/ membership packages/ others which are not as per the printed menu of the restaurant/ bar/ cake shop, unless stated otherwise.

  • Charges for car hire/ shopping arcade/ fitness centre/ chartered flights, pay outs, tips, taxes.

  • Charges (even if charged to members’ room) for non-affiliated hotel entities which are not owned and/or operated by the hotel including, but not limited to, outlets such as travel bookings, gift shop, drugstore, clothes, gallery, or specialty stores, recreational or entertainment concessions.

Members can start earning NeuCoins from the day member become a part of Tata Neu program, simply by spending on participating IHCL hotels and restaurants.
  • If member is a platinum tier member, member can earn 8* NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes
  • If member is a gold tier member, member can earn 7* NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes
  • If member is a silver tier member, member can earn 5* NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes
  • If member is a copper tier member, member can earn 4 NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes
*Member will earn 4 NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes in Ginger Hotels. Members can earn NeuCoins when member pay in Rupees, or any other currency, accepted by participating hotels and restaurants on eligible spends
Yes, for spends at hotels outside India, members will earn NeuCoins based on their eligible spends at the respective hotel. The spend amount will be converted to INR, and NeuCoins will be credited to the member’s account based on the converted amount.
Yes, for spends at hotels outside India, members can redeem NeuCoins based on their eligible spends at the respective hotel. The redemption will have in INR and exchange rate will apply as per the local currency.
Yes, member will earn NeuCoins on all its Qmin transactions using the Tata Neu or Qmin app. NeuCoins won't be awarded if a discount has been used.
Yes, member can pay for its Qmin order, fully or partly, using its NeuCoins. However, NeuCoins can't be used if member has availed a discount.

Platinum & Gold Tier members get the following e-upgrade voucher:
  • Platinum members get unlimited upgrades (subject to availability at the hotel). Each platinum member can avail an upgrade to next category from the room booked for a stay of up to 05 consecutive nights.
  • Gold members get 20 upgrade vouchers to the Next Category Room for up to 5 consecutive nights per stay. This voucher entitles the member to a complimentary upgrade to the next category from the room booked.
  • Platinum members get 10 and gold members get 2 Taj Club Room Upgrade e-vouchers: The voucher is a room only upgrade and will not include any other third-party services (outsourced) by the hotel. This includes airport transfer, payouts, medical charges, and other services outsourced by the respective hotel. Please confirm the same with the hotel in advance
The member must quote their registered mobile number with Tata Neu at the hotel to avail the discount and give the OTP sent to member for verification. Points are applicable after discount on the invoice. The member can avail the discount even if they are not residing at the hotel.
A member will earn NeuCoins on eligible spends net of taxes and discounts at participating IHCL hotels.
Taj InnerCircle Platinum & Gold Members can enjoy exclusive Happy Hours at a designated venue within the hotel during their stay. Each hotel will host members for complimentary beverages between 6pm – 8pm, offering a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Taj InnerCircle Platinum member is eligible for unlimited complimentary beverages and Taj InnerCircle Gold tier member is eligible for 1+1 complimentary beverages along with their partners during the Happy Hours [Residential Only]. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Happy Hours are available only at the hotel's designated venue.
  • This privilege is exclusively for the member and their partner staying at the hotel.
  • Beverages are served by the glass or standard peg measure.
  • Food is not part of this benefit, and minibar consumption is excluded.
  • Ordering by the bottle, including wine, is not permitted, and multiple rounds of drinks cannot be ordered together.

Taj InnerCircle Platinum members have unlimited access to the Taj Club Lounge while residing at the hotel. This is only applicable for the member and a single partner residing with them.
NeuCoins can be redeemed and gifted in the form of Taj Experience Gift Cards to friends and/or family of the Member, for a minimum amount of ₹1000 and maximum ₹25000.
